About Dave Darque
DAVE DARQUE started off playing drums in a band called FATAH MORGANA. The band played the support act for THE SEX PISTOLS in 1977, as the pistols visited Trondheim. The 80's came along with great musical changes, and Dave Darque moved on to a symphonic rock band called GREAT EXHIBITION. After three years with Great Ex. as singer/keyboard player, it was time to go solo. Dave Darque released the single "Blow Wind Blow/Crazy Colours" in 1984, and it was released on Polygram's label MERCURY. Musicians from STAGE DOLLS and DAVE DARQUE BAND contributed on this record, and the following years Dave worked with D.D. BAND and a band called ZIN ZAN. Dave Darque is still making music with elements from several decades, so stay tuned.......

Blimey - being a dork I am in the dark about Dave Darque but boy, am I glad he's joined this great site,
Top marks? Of course. A superb song in every aspects especially as Don't Do It conjures up (for me, anyway) the good old days of the 80s.
The track reminded me of the style of Sailor (remember them? One Drink Too Many etc).
Nice pace, great backing and Dave has a good set of tonsils too which suits the music to a T.
Good lyrics AND I am sure this top tune would easily get aired on radio.
An all-round 'good job'.
