Raineater - My Name Is Legion

Well... Its different to say the least! For those of you who havent heard Raineater, they certainly are in their own genre of music. Completely unclassable...

This is probably the hardest review I've ever had to write. You either completely love it or completely hate it (or like me, are some what confused by it all). I can't say I like it, but I certainly don't hate it. I think the easiest way to describe this band and their sound is 'good clean fun'. I must admit there are certain bits that make me cringe and think 'what the hell is going on'. But, its so experimental, crazy and downright weird that it balances it all out. It's not something i'd go and buy personally, but I am into more serious music.

'I was Repulsed' is the best track on the cd. Its an acoustic track with a lot of energy and is less 'muck about' than the other tracks (which is probably why I like it more). Id have to say that Raineater are an aquired taste, but if it is your taste, you'll like Raineater very much...
