Review:
The first thing that strikes you about The Valkarys is the lead singer's unique and powerful voice. It lends itself brilliantly to this old school almost sixitiesesque tune which could get anyone singing along. I know I did.

'Candy girl' for me was the ultimate in easy listening and the kind of music to be shared with friends or family young and old. With its powerful vocals and chilled out tune it makes excellent use of various instruments used to construct this song of many layers. Bass lines stood out impressively and their use of the tambourine, of all things, could possibly be one of the most interesting and impressive instrument choices this reviewer has heard of in a while.

Although 'Candy girl' is essentially a 'somebody done somebody wrong' song when listening you're left with, instead of sadness or empathy, a connection to the music which manages to somehow lift you.
