About Winch House
Haverfordwest in Wales, UK is probably the last place on earth you'd expect to find an outstanding band. To tell the truth, if Winch House are anything to go by you are officially advised to start your search by looking there.
In an environment where bands are a dime a dozen they've thrived and developed an intensely fresh sound. Living on a diet of Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Taking Back Sunday and Four Year Strong amongst many MANY others, Winch House forge a sound which is both refreshing and unique, whilst at the same time they somehow manage to sound remarkably familiar.
Youth culture, massive choruses and a sound designed to please peoples ears all combine to make Winch House a must know band. Mix this with an awesome sense of humour, dashing good looks and Winch House will quickly take over your life. "In all seriousness", you need this band in your life!
The boys recorded their debut single at Screamadelica Studios in Cardiff and with an as yet untitled album being released later in the year and available worldwide through Altsounds Records, Winch House appear to be promptly taking the world by storm and are proving to be an unstoppable force.
With a music video for the single "Sweet Taste Of Summer" in the editing stage and a huge mass of UK tour dates on the horizon, its only a matter of time before the words on everyones lips are "Winch House".

Finaly, we've finished our album, the date for its release will be out shortly, so keep posted!!

RECORDING OUR ALBUM!
At the end of this month, we will be recording our album in Cardiff at screamadelica studios! At the moment the album is untitled but we will have a name for you soon enough!!!

DEBUT SINGLE FINALY OUT!!!
*Sings* "Sweet Taste Of Summer... Oh, I don't know what I would do..." Oops. Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be talking. Eeek!! *Sings* "We're Breaking Away... Don't need anyone to say we're wrong"! ****. I did it again. Man this single is infectious!
The wait is finally over! As the summer draws to a close our premier signing Winch House remind us all of the sweet things that happened during this summer and hanker us back to the times we have had. The debut single by Winch House should be used as your anthem to while away the rest of your break before the inevitable happens! Back to work. OR Back To School.
The single is available FOR FREE for EVERYONE starting today and until the demand ceases. To download the song please follow the following link: Subscribe to our Newsletters
And then add your e-mail address twice to signup for both the Winch House and the Altsounds mailing Lists. In return you get a little gem that is the Winch House single in your Inbox at 192Kbps Quality almost instantaneously!!!! That's the closest thing we can do to popping a CD in the mail to everyone that requests it..... gratis! Another treat is, in a couple of weeks, all members of the list will be exclusively receiving the MP4 version of the HD music video for download to your IPODS and mobile phones. This month Winch House will be returning to the studio to complete their debut album (currently untitled) that will be released on Altsounds Records late 08 / early 09. Now as a 3 piece it will be interesting to see what comes out of the sessions but from what my sources say expect even much more than before (believe it or not). How is that possible?? Who knows!
